General terms and conditions

1. General

By concluding the contract, the buyer acknowledges the general terms and conditions. The purchase is therefore binding. This creates a legally valid purchase agreement. Order cancellations are not possible. After receiving your order, you will receive an order confirmation from us via email. Prices, images, and specifications may differ from the products offered. All liability is excluded. The seller reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions at any time. Stock availability is subject to change. BabyNest reserves the right to cancel orders without giving reasons. The "General Terms and Conditions" are written in German. The translations into English, French, and Italian are automatic.

2. Shipping and Delivery

2.1 Scope

We deliver to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany. For shipments abroad, additional customs and import costs may apply.

2.2 Shipping Costs

For deliveries throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, you pay a shipping fee of CHF 8.90 (economy). For orders with a goods value of over CHF 190.00, there are no shipping costs. 

For deliveries to Germany and Austria, we charge a shipping fee of CHF 35.00 (Hermes / DHL / FedEx). Orders with a merchandise value exceeding CHF 350.00 qualify for free shipping. 

2.3 Terms of Delivery

Use and risk are fully transferred to the buyer. Claims for damages from delay in delivery excluded. If deliveries are delayed by our suppliers, this can affect the delivery time.

For products that are made to order, production takes 5 – 20 working days excluding shipping time.

All deliveries to Switzerland and Liechtenstein are sent by Swiss Post. The delivery time is 2 – 7 working days.

2.4 Defects in Delivery

We ask you to check the delivered items immediately for correctness, completeness and intactness. Complaints regarding the scope of delivery, material defects, incorrect deliveries and quantity discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within 5 working days of receipt of the goods. If the defect is accepted by BabyNest, you will receive an identical replacement item, if in stock. Otherwise, the entire amount will be refunded to you, excluding delivery costs.

Returns will only be accepted in unopened original packaging without damage. The return must be sufficiently franked. Transport damage is excluded.

As with all products made from real wool, pilling and fluff will form. This is normal and counts NOT as a production error. 

3. Prices

All prices quoted are in Swiss francs. Since our sole proprietorship is currently exempt from VAT, VAT is not shown. Subject to price changes and errors.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment Options

With us you have the option to choose between the following payment methods. Depending on the payment method you choose, additional fees may be charged by your card company or payment service provider, including in the case of refunds.

4.2 Advance payment / bank transfer

The amount for prepayment is to be paid within 5 working days. If the amount is not paid within this period, the order expires.

4.3 Credit Card

You can pay for your order by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via the secure payment system Stripe. We do not store any data. 

4.4 Twint

You can pay for your order safely and easily with your smartphone using the Twint payment system. With Twint Pay Later you have the option to pay for your order in 30 days.

4.5 Klarna

Order today and pay later. With Klarna you pay for your order in 30 days by invoice.
After the purchase contract has been concluded, Klarna takes over the invoice claim and is responsible for the payment terms in connection with the processing of the purchase contract. Payments must be made within the payment period exclusively to the Klarna account specified on the invoice.
 

4.5 HeyLight (Buy now, pay later)

With Heylight you have the option of paying for your order in installments with 0% interest and no fees. No registration or app download is necessary, you only need a credit or debit card. The claim is assigned to Heylight and the installments are deducted directly from your card by Heylight. 

4.6 Apple Pay / Google Pay

Pay easily and conveniently via Apple Pay or Google Pay. The transaction is processed by the respective providers. 

4.7 PayPal

Pay easily and conveniently with PayPal. The transaction is processed by PayPal. 

5. Exchange & Return Policy

You can exchange items within 10 days for a voucher for the value of the goods. The goods must be received by us within this period. In the event of a delay, a fee of 10% of the purchase price will be charged. Returns are at your own expense and risk. Before returning an item, please contact us by email at info@baby-nest.ch and state the reason for the return. If items are returned without our consent, only 50% of the purchase price will be refunded, or the item will be returned at an additional cost.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

The following products are excluded from exchange and return:

  • Chunky knit merino wool item from the BabyNest Collection
  • Bed canopy + canopy
  • SALE items
  • Missing accessories
  • No original packaging available
  • Original labels are missing
  • Opened, used and washed products
  • Items ordered on customer request
  • Individual configurable products

Returns must be sufficiently stamped and properly packaged.
After this period, an exchange is not possible.

6. Gift Certificate

Gift vouchers are vouchers that you can purchase. You can pay for your order with a BabyNest voucher. To do this, enter the code on the voucher in the corresponding field of the order. A gift voucher can only be redeemed before completing the order process and for the full amount. The amount of the voucher is specified. The vouchers are issued exclusively in CHF and are freely transferable. A cash payment is excluded.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

BabyNest's business activities are based exclusively on Swiss law.
